Doctors call for improved standards

    There is  a fall  in ethics in  almost all the  professions,  but the medical  field is  still trying  to maintain  its  morale  values.
Dr.Hisamuddin papa, Director Huma Specialist's hospital and research centre has said.

    Delivering his speech at the panel discussion on 'medical Ethics Today' held as part of the golden jubilee reunion of the 1955 batch of the Stanley Medical College, here on Saturday, he said medical profession is unique as compared to any other and said the profession is the next to Godliness.


    Also participating in the discussion was Dr Rabindran, Founder Rabindrans Health Care Centre, who stressed on the need for a legislation on medical articles published in the magazines. He said when a physician is publishing an article on a research topic, he must prove his works before a panel of experts.

    He also laid emphasis on the need for creating awareness among the patients and educating them on the latest developments in the field of medicine. Alumni's of the 1955 batch of the Stanley Medical College took part in the reunion along with their families and shared their memories.
