Reaching out medical
Services to common Man
India is being looked up today as
a fine destination for medical care with competent specialists, for
a much less cost and time, by the rest of the world. Thus an era
of 'Medical Tourism' has begun. But, the saddest aspect is, how much
of this expertise is availed by out common Indian citizen. The bare
trith is, the high costs of diagnostics and investigations make proper
medical care beyond the affordability of majority of Our citizens.
The major reason for this state of affairs is due to unethical, illegal
and business like practice in the profession.
Having grown desperate at this sad scenario and attempting to efface
tile reasons for the out of reach modem medical facilities for the
common man, we at HUMA have initiated a strife to undo the impediments
and to ensure affordability of these by the common by focusing on:
1. Making international quality medical care affordable even to the common
man;
2. Refraining and restraining any kind of unethical or illegal practice of gratis
or kickbacks;
3. Crusading against doctors being included under the Consumer Farum. this in
fact is one of the main reasons for Doctors carrying out extra investigations
to sate guard themselves from libel suits;
4. Prescribing only necessary medicines and necessary investigations to save
the patients from over dosage radiations and also unwanted expenditure;
5. Spreading awareness among public about the availability of top quality diagnostics
and investigations, at a price affordable even by a common man. And also about
the rebirth and revival of the most ethical medical practice by a team of doctors
that we have formed here, called 'The Noble Doctors' Our slogan
/ logo / motto is "We Dare Because We Care" "We dare" because
we challenge the unethical practices in vogue, 'We care" because
we want every medical facility available in our country to be made
within the reach of common man.
We at HUMA have made a humble beginning towards this great cause and you the
Press are the torch bearers / Ambassadors in spreading this message to every
nook and comer in India, so as to kindle the thoughts and revive the true ethical
practice of medical profession so that India emerges as a healthy and strong
nation.
This task of creating awareness, my dear friends, is in your hands.
